How to Install WordPress on iPage Hosting – 5 Minute Guide

Step 1: Assuming that you have your Control Panel Details. Login to your Cpanel and in the “website” section you can see “WordPress” as shown below in the screenshot.

 

Step 2: You will be redirected to Installation page where you need to enter domain name where you want to install WordPress. Click on “Next”.
Leave the directory section empty. It is useful if you want sub-directory.

 

Step 3: You need to enter Site Name, Username, Email Address and Password and agree to the checkboxes and click “Next”.
Save all the above somewhere because it will be needed in the future for logging.

 

Step 4: Now you will be successfully installed WordPress on your iPage server. You can see overall site progress like below screenshot.
After successful installation is done you will be given credentials to log in your WordPress.

 

Step 5: Now login to your WordPress with the URL www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin.php
For example, my login URL will be www.discountcage.com/wp-admin.php and enter the Username and Password and login easily.
